The Program Explained

What is True Athlete – The Program?

True Athlete – The Program is a complete, 18-week system designed for athletes committed to reaching their full potential.

Through a deliberate progression across four distinct phases, you’ll build strength, power, and speed step by step — transforming your foundation into peak athletic performance.

The individual Phases

While it’s recommended to follow the complete program from Weeks 1–18, each phase can also be purchased individually as 4-5 Week Training Blocks.

This option is ideal for athletes who need shorter training blocks or who want to focus on specific goals such as foundation building, strength and power, or speed development.

Training Philosophy

True Athlete – The Program includes weekly sprinting sessions, lower-body and upper-body training days, with occasional full-body workouts.

Sprinting sessions focus on plyometrics, acceleration, and top-speed development.

Lower-body days include plyometrics, Olympic lifts, and heavy strength work.

Upper-body days feature ballistic throws, heavy compound lifts, and accessory exercises aimed at hypertrophy.

Each workout is designed to develop the qualities most essential for athletic progress.

Training Split

The program consists of 5–6 weekly training sessions organized in a sprinting, lower-body, and upper-body rotation. Depending on the training phase, sprinting and lower-body sessions may be combined to allow for an additional rest day.
